The Llynvi and Ogmore Railway was a British railway company in Glamorganshire in Wales

History

The company was established on June 28, 1866 by the merger of the broad gauge Llynvi Valley Railway and the standard-gauge Ogmore Valley Railways.

The route network of the company ranged from Porthcawl far as Dyffryn with branches of Tondu Bridgend and Nantymoel. Until 1868, the entire route network was expanded to three tracks. 1872, the broad gauge has ceased operations. Added to this was the route of the former Ely Valley Extension Railway, which was not connected to the rest of the network. Locomotives
