Lobeč

The Czech community Lobeč ( German praise ) is located in the Region Středočeský, on the border of okres Mělník okres Mladá Boleslav. On 349 acres of live 135 inhabitants. The place is located three kilometers north-east of Mseno in Daubaer Switzerland.

History

The area was already inhabited in the Neolithic period. In the 7th and 10th centuries, Slavs built here the first fortresses. At the site of today's church used to be a watchtower, with the one guarded the trade route, which led past the Vrátenská brána near the castle Kamenec and further led to Serbia. In the 10th century settled here the gender Pšovani and Lemuzi. In Lobeč was also an old farmstead, who later became the King of Bohemia belonged, and was managed by the Bezděz from. First mentioned was the place in the year 1205.

In Lobeč is the grave of the writer and archaeologist Edward Štorch.
