Loch Long is a fjord-like bay on the west coast of Scotland in the North West Highlands. In Scotland, these bays sea lochs are called and call lakes that are fed by seawater.

The Loch Long flows near the small village of Dornie in Loch Duich and Loch Alsh. The Loch Long is less than 100 meters wide at its south- north-east direction approximately 7 miles long at its narrowest point. The shore infrastructure is hardly developed and inhabited only by a few farms.
