Lola Prefecture

Lola is a prefecture in the region Nzérékoré in Guinea with about 123,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean Prefectures it is after its capital, Lola, named.

The prefecture is located in the south of the country, bordering Liberia and the Ivory Coast, and covers an area of ​​4219 km ². Here on the border of the two neighboring countries, the Mount Nimba, the highest mountain in the country.
