London Fashion Week
The London Fashion Week is a fashion show in London, which will be held twice a year in February and September. It is reserved for invited guests and members of the fashion industry and is one of the Big Four of the world's fashion weeks, in addition to the New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
Organization
The London Fashion Week was organized in 1984 by the British Fashion Council (BFC ) for the London Development Agency with the assistance of the Department of Enterprise, Innovation and Skills ( Department for Business, Innovation and Skills ). Since the London Development Agency was closed in 2012, the Mayor of London is direct co. The Fashion Week presents itself as investors trade event with significant media coverage. As the largest sponsors Mercedes -Benz and the international hairdressing company Toni & Guy are represented. According to their own statements, the event is attended by over 5,000 press and buyers and people made purchases worth an estimated 40 million pounds in 2007 and 100 million pounds in 2010.
Current venue for numerous events as part of London Fashion Week, Somerset House is the main exhibition presents more than 150 designers in central London, in the interior. Health checks of Models
