London Towers

The London Towers was a professional basketball club from London in England. The club was founded in 1984 as Tower Hamlets, and took first as London Docklands from 1989 in the closed professional league British Basketball League (BBL ) part. As of 1991, called to London Towers and played from 1994 at the Wembley Arena and after merger with Crystal Palace from 1998 additionally at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Under the name Towers we won two championships in 1997 and 1999 in the BBL and also took twice the highest European club competition ULEB Euro League to whose hours of part. 2006 had the game running in the BBL are set and 2009, the playing in the third division of the English Basketball League semi-professional, previous second team also ceased operation.
