Long Beach Dub Allstars

The Long Beach Dub Allstars are an American Reggae / Dub band that was formed in 1997 and disbanded again in 2002.

Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh had known each other since kindergarten ( around 1979 ) and later they formed their first band. A garage- punk band that consisted of drums, bass and vocals. Later they founded together with Brad Nowell the Dub Band Sublime. The Long Beach Dub Allstars ( LBDAS ) were after Brad died in 1996 from an overdose of heroin, was founded.

After the Long Beach Dub Allstars disbanded in 2002, founded with guitarist Eric Wilson RAS -1, the band Long Beach Shortbus, the anknüpften musically the sound of the Long Beach Dub Allstars. Gaugh founded with Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and Chris Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets, the short-lived alternative rock project Eyes Adrift.
