Description

The Eastern Long-tailed Hummingbird shadow ( Phaethornis superciliosus ), also called Langschwanzeremit, is a 15 centimeter sized species of the family of hummingbirds. Search for food the bird uses its long down- curved beak.

This species is found in the undergrowth of tropical forests from Venezuela to French Guiana and Brazil.
