The Longnose Samtdornhai ( Centroscymnus crepidater ) is a species of shark in the family sleeping sharks.

Features

The Longnose Samtdornhai reaches a length of 80 to 130 cm. Per litter, this type gets 4-8 boy, they are 28 to 35 inches tall. This species feeds mainly on fish and cephalopods. The dorsal fin is covered with very small spines.

Habitat

The habitat of the longnose Samtdornhai extends mainly over the Atlantic from Iceland to Namibia. There are also deposits in the Pacific, as well as in the Indian Ocean. They live at depths 230-1500 m.
