Look into the Future
Look into the Future is the second studio album by the American AOR band Journey and was released in January 1976 on Columbia Records.
History
The album belongs to the early phase of the band before the entry of Steve Perry 1978, a stylistic upheaval took place and began the success story of the band.
The album includes a cover version of the Beatles ' It's All Too Much from the Yellow Submarine movie of 1968. Titles Anyway, It's All Too Much, On a Saturday Nite and You're on Your Own in 1979 re-released on the album In the Beginning, I'm Gonna Leave You mentioned on the album and beyond the 1992 LP Time.
Reception
The album reached the Billboard LP chart top spot 100 and remained in the charts for 15 weeks. Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic called the album " a little too directionless to function as a good jazz-rock ", but it is a marginal improvement over its predecessor. He missed two out of five stars.
Cover versions by other artists tracks of this album will not be found on the U.S. placed LP.
