Lordship of Berat

( Or also called Musachi ) The noble family of Muzaka came from the central Albania, where their possessions were. Gjon Muzaka I. fought from 1273 to 1281 against the invading from the Kingdom of Naples in Albania troops of King Charles I. Theodor Muzaka I was one of the military leaders of Lazar Hrebeljanović 1389 at the Battle of Kosovo Polje.

However Gjin Muzaka later took part in the League of Lezha and supported Skanderbeg battle against the Turks.
