Lori Singer

Lori Jacqueline Singer ( born November 6, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas ) is an American actress.

Life

Singer was born as the daughter of Canadian Jewish immigrants. Her father Jacques Singer is a conductor and her mother Leslie pianist. Her brother Marc Singer is also an actor, and her cousin Bryan Singer has been working as a director. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School cellist and occurs today as a soloist.

Singer is best known for playing the role of Ariel Moore, the Reverend Shaw Moore's daughter in the movie Footloose. She also starred in The Falcon and the Snowman and The Man With One Red Shoe.

Lori Singer embodied in the series Fame - The path to glory from 1982 to 1983, the role of Julie Miller. In addition, it was seen as a cellist Zoe Trainer in Robert Altman's Short Cuts. The cello played Singer itself
