Lostener See

The Lostener lake is 1.5 kilometers north of Schwerin outdoor lake in the municipality of Bad little ones in the county Northwest in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern.

The water flows through it from south to north from Wallenstein ditch that connects the lake with the Schwerin Wismar Bay. On the shore is mostly dense woods. The only directly accessible location on the west bank. Reedbeds are sporadically present on the south bank.

The connection to the Schwerin Lake was laid out from 1531 artificially with the aim of improving navigability. A Steffine called and to the Baltic Sea draining Bach was originally already exists.
