Lothar Knörzer

Lothar Knörzer (* August 4, 1933 in Karlsruhe ) is a retired German athlete who with the German relay bronze in the 4 x 100 - meter race won ( 40.3 s at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, together with Leonhard Pohl, Heinz Fütterer and Manfred Germar; Lothar Knörzer as first runner ). He joined in a joint German team for the Federal Republic at these Olympic games.

Lothar Knörzer belonged to the Karlsruher SC. In his playing days, he was 1.72 m tall and weighed 58 kg.
