Lotte World Tower

The Lotte World Premium Tower ( only when Lotte World Tower known ) is a skyscraper under construction in Seoul, capital of South Korea. The construction project is part of the Lotte World complex.

The tower is with a height of 555 meters the tallest building in the country after its scheduled completion in 2016 and one of the highest in the world. A floor space of around 304,000 Qudaratmetern which are spread over 123 floors above ground according to the plans of the Lotte Group Bauherrs hotel rooms and offices are housed. The skyscraper has a square base, towards the top of the building is slightly narrower, rounded shape. The top floor will be at about 497 meters above sea level, slightly above the roof. The upper floors should also be opened to the public after the completion of the construction work. A glass-clad steel construction is on the outside walls towering further until the final height of 555 meters reached. For the planning of the tower the American architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox is responsible, which has already been implemented both in Asia and in North America several skyscrapers.

The plans for the high-rise goes back to the year 2005.
