Lou Ann Barton

Lou Ann Barton ( born February 17, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American blues and blues-rock singer.

The daughter of a truck driver and a bookstore owner in 1980 discovered in a New York club by Glenn Frey ( The Eagles ) as Blue talent. The singer, living in Austin / Texas since the seventies, 1982, on her first album. " Old Enough " was the only debut album of the year in the MTV Top Ten.

First band experience she gained as a member of the Triple Threat Revue with Stevie Ray Vaughan and WC Clark, in his later band The WC Clark Blues Revue, she was also a singer. As lead singer for bands like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Roomful of Blues, The Five Careless Lovers and Lou Ann Barton and the FlipTops toured various dance halls and clubs, primarily in Texas.
