Louis de Boissy

Louis de Boissy (* November 26, 1694 in Vic- sur -Cère, † April 19, 1758 in Paris) was a French writer and poet. Of 12 August 1754 he was a member of the Académie française. He also worked under the pseudonym Bonnefoy.

Louis de Boissy was editor of the Gazette de France and Mercure and wrote satirical and comic pieces. Among the most famous L' Homme du jour ou les dehors is trompeurs. His son, Louis Michel de Boissy.
