Louis de Caix d'Hervelois
Louis de Caix d' Hervelois (* 1680 in Amiens, † October 18th 1759 in Paris) was a French viol player and composer.
He was probably a pupil of Marin Marais. Between 1710 and 17521 he wrote several collections for viola da gamba and two collections for flute, most of which are transcriptions of his viol pieces. (including " la marche du Czar ").
