Louis Falk

Louis election Falk ( born December 30, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an Anglican Archbishop.

Life

In 1953 Falk graduated from the University School of Milwaukee. On September 3, 1955 he married Carol Alice Froemming. In 1958, Falk graduated from Lawrence College (now Lawrence University) with a focus on philosophy and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with summa cum laude. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1962, Falk completed a Master of Divinity with honors cum laude from Nashotah House, a seminary of the Episcopal Church. After ordination as a deacon on 23 January 1962 he was ordained to the priesthood on August 6 of the Episcopal Church. Falk then went from active service of the Episcopal Church and became a businessman. From 1976 to 1981 he was president of General Growth Management Company in Des Moines, Iowa.

In the late 1970s, Falk joined the Anglican Catholic Church. He was rector of St. Aidan 's Parish in Des Moines. In 1981 he was elected the first bishop of the Diocese of Missouri Valley.
