Louis-Gabriel-Charles Vicaire

Gabriel Vicaire, origin. Louis -Gabriel -Charles Vicaire ( born January 25, 1848 in Belfort, Territoire de Belfort Dépt; . † September 23, 1900 in Paris ) was a French lawyer and writer.

Vicaire was the son of Alphonse Vicaire administrative officer and his wife Elisa Pitet. The bibliographer Georges Vicaire was his cousin.

Between 1860 and 1864 graduated Vicaire his schooling at the Lycée de Bourg -en- Bresse and graduated the following year from Lyon. He then studied law in Paris. He participated in the German -French war and was able to after the war in Paris to settle as a lawyer.

Soon Vicaire could with a first poetry anthology successful debut and through this, some of the Parnassian were aware of him. Today it is also one Vicaire to this literary association.
