Grundwassersee

The Lübbesee is an approximately 300 -acre river -like lake in the town of Templin in the northeast of the state of Brandenburg. The lake extends over a length of 12 km along the places Templin with the living space Post Home, Ahrens village and Petersdorf until after Ahlimbsmuhle. Its maximum depth is 13 m. It has a catchment area of ​​36.75 km ².

The lake is closed to boats with internal combustion engines. However, driven by electric motors, water vehicles can drive on it. The Lübbesee has excellent water quality with sight depths up to 4 m.

From Templin shore tours are offered with an electric boat. Furthermore, the lake with rowing boats, pedalos and sailing boats can be driven. The shores of the lake are mostly very flat and wide walkable.
