Lubbock ( On Everything ) was the second plate publication of the American country musician Terry Allen. Although this double album never reached big sales numbers, but it is a milestone in the music, which is known as alternative country today. The twenty songs for the album were recorded under the direction of Don Caldwell and Lloyd Maines in Lubbock, Texas in 1978 and published on Fate Records. In 1995, by the label Sugar Hill Records to re-release on CD. In many reviews Lubbock ( On Everything ) is considered significant: Allmusic.com called, the album as one of the finest country records of all time and noticed that the otherwise neglected publication among lovers of the plate occupies an iconic status. Many contemporary country musicians call the plate than significant impact - among other things Adam Carroll.

Worth mentioning

Many of the songs has been covered over the years by other bands and artists, including Truckload Of Art of crackers, Amarillo Highway by Robert Earl Keen and - even before publication, namely 1977 - New Delhi Freight Train of Little Feat. Numerous especially American country bands have songs from this double album in the program - such as the Tennessee Rounders with Amarillo Highway.
