Luboš Kozel

Luboš Kozel ( born March 16, 1971 in Vlašim ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Player

Luboš Kozel began playing football at Jawa Divišov. At the age of 15 years, the defender moved to BS Vlašim in his native city. 1989 Kozel was of ČSAD (later Švarc ) committed Benešov. After good performances in the 2nd league Kozel moved in summer 1993 to Slavia Prague. With Slavia Kozel 1995 Czech champion, in the UEFA Cup 1995/96 the team reached the semi-finals.

On 13 December 1995 Luboš Kozel had made ​​its debut at the libero position in the Czech national team. During qualifying for the 1998 World Cup against the Faroe Islands on 20 August 1997 his only goal was scored him a total of nine international matches, the game ended 2-0.

He moved in early 2002 to Újpest FC to Budapest, the Radek Slončík committed at the same time. In the Hungarian League Kozel graduated 24 games in which he scored two goals. Coach

Immediately following his playing career Kozel returned to Slavia Prague and worked as an assistant for the B team. In the summer of 2005, he assumed the position of head coach for the second team. For the season 2007/ 08 Luboš Kozel has signed a two -year contract with FK Jablonec. After only six points from their first nine games Kozel was released on 8 October 2007. A week later, he was an assistant coach at Slovan Liberec. After Kozel was released in November 2009 Slovan Liberec, he took over in December of the same year the post of head coach of the second division club FK Dukla Prague.
