Luc abalone ( born September 6, 1984 in Ivry- sur -Seine, France ) is a French handball player of Togolese descent. He is 1.82 m tall, weighs 80 kg and plays on right outside the French club Paris Saint- Germain HB and for the French national handball team. Abalone is an officer of the French National Order of Merit.

Career

Since his youth, abalone played in his hometown at U.S. Ivry HB, where he had also received his first professional contract in 2005. 2005/ 06 his club was fourth in the 1st French Division and reached the cup final, 2006/07 we even won the French championship. 2005, 2006 and 2007 Luc abalone was elected to the best right winger of the 1st French Division. 2008 - and not, as initially planned in 2007 - he moved to the Spanish top club BM Ciudad Real. With Ciudad Real 2009 he won the Spanish Cup and the EHF Champions League. 2010 was added another Spanish title. 2011 was the least successful season for him since he has moved to Ciudad Real. He only won the Spanish Cup with his team. After the 2010/11 season he has also been associated with the THW Kiel in connection after Ciudad Real announced to want to change for financial reasons to Madrid. He remained the club but loyal, and moved with the complete club BM Ciudad Real to BM Atlético Madrid. In summer 2012, he signed a contract with the French first division side Paris Saint- Germain HB. With Paris in 2013, he won the championship.

Luc abalone has been disputed 181 caps for the French national handball team and became Olympic, world and European champions.
