Luc Castaignos ( born September 27, 1992, Schiedam ) is a Dutch footballer who is since 2012 at Twente Enschede under contract.

Youth

The ancestors of his family are on the Atlantic coast, 100 km from Bordeaux in the south- west of France. His father Jean -Luc was born in France and his mother comes from the Cape Verde Islands, but has in the meantime the Italian nationality. In October 1990, two years before Luc's birth, the parents came to the Netherlands. He came in Schiedam, South Holland and grew up there in a troubled neighborhood with a high proportion of immigrants.

Club career

On 24 September 2009 Luc Castaignos Feyenoord Rotterdam made ​​his professional debut when he came on in the closing stages of the Cup game against Harkemase Boys. Overall, he came in the season 2009/10 on three league and two cup inserts for Feyenoord, but could not score a goal. However, he was in the 2010/11 season with 15 league goals already top scorer of his team. National
