Luca Castiglia

Luca Castiglia ( born March 17, 1989 in Ceva (CN), Italy) is an Italian football player.

Castiglia comes from the youth section of Juventus. He plays in central midfield, there usually takes the role of game designer and is often compared to Andrea Pirlo.

Career

Luca Castiglia joined in the summer of 2005 by Torino Calcio local rivals Juventus. There he won in his first season immediately the Italian Championship in the age Allievi Nazionali, comparable to the B- youth in Germany. In 2009, Castiglia won with the Primavera, the highest youth team, the prestigious Coppa Carnevale in Viareggio.

Already 27 January 2008 Castiglia debuted in the first team of Juve, as he came off the bench in a 3-1 away victory in the Serie A match at AS Livorno just before the end of Pavel Nedvěd.

For the 2009/10 season Castiglia was loaned to AC Cesena in Serie B. The cavallucci Marini had an option to buy, yet the lending transaction was completed in January 2010, as the midfielder was injured in Cesena come to only one use. Castiglia was awarded for the second half of the season for AC Reggiana in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione, for which he completed eight league games.

In July 2010 he was awarded again, this time to the third division side FC Esperia Viareggio.
