Luca Sestak

Luca Sestak (born 10 January 1995 in Celle ) is a German boogie -woogie, blues, and jazz pianist.

Musical career

Luca Sestak was brought as a child to play the piano, but showed little interest, which is why he was sent, at the insistence of the parents at the age of nine years, a piano teacher.

After another two years of classical piano lessons Sestak discovered on the Internet, mainly on the online portal YouTube, the jazz and blues music, as well as the boogie -woogie. He was fascinated by this kind of music and began teaching himself to teach this style of music in addition to the classical teaching. From December 2006, he shared his first video also on YouTube, the notoriety gained. His videos have been called to this day about 7.8 million times (as of January 2014).

After appearances in Karlsruhe, its reputation is further developed through videos. Up to the age of 19 Sestak was at concerts and festivals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and the USA, including with Vince Weber, Ben Waters, Silvan Zingg Pete York, Bob Seeley and Frank Muschalle occurred.

Sestak 2010 first appeared on German television on at " coffee or tea " in the SWR.
