Lucía Puenzo

Lucía Puenzo ( born November 28, 1976 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine writer and director. She is the daughter of Luis Puenzo. Her debut as a screenwriter, she gave in 2001 with the documentary (H ) Historias cotidianas. Afterwards she worked mainly for television and writing scripts for various television series such as Final minute. In 2007 she made her debut as a director with the film drama XXY. For this she was awarded among others with the Goya 2008 Best in category Foreign Film in Spanish.
