Lucien Muratore

Lucien Muratore ( born August 29, 1878 in Marseille, † July 16, 1954 in Paris) was a French opera singer (tenor ) at the start of the 20th century.

Life

Lucien Muratore came from an Italian immigrant family. Early on, he recognized his artistic talent and participated in the Comédie- Française acting and singing lessons. In Emma Calvé, he found a motherly friend who advised him his talent towards opera prepare. In 1902 he made ​​his operatic debut in the premiere of Reynaldo Hahn's La Carmelite at the Opéra -Comique.
