Lucius Valerius Flaccus (consul 195 BC)

The Lucius Valerius Flaccus Roman politician († 180 BC) was an ally of Cato the Elder.

As a Conservative Flaccus Cato supported role as a defender of Roman tradition against Hellenism. It was in the year 201 BC kurulischer aedile, praetor in 199 BC Sicily and 195 BC, together with Cato consul. During his consulate Flaccus hit the Boii and Insubres. 191 BC, he was legate of Thermopylae.
