Lucius Valerius Flaccus (consul 261 BC)

Lucius Valerius Flaccus was a Roman politician during the First Punic War.

According to Konsularfasten he was the son of Marcus, who is not known on; his grandfather might have been BC, the magister equitum the year 321, which was also named Lucius Valerius Flaccus. He was elected along with Titus Otacilius Crassus the consul for the year 261 BC. Both consuls were operating in Sicily; in their tenure falls the further expansion of the Roman fleet. About Flaccus ' further life nothing is known. His son was the consul of 227 BC, Publius Valerius Flaccus.
