Lucky Star (manga)
Lucky Star (Japaneseらき ☆ すた, Raki ☆ Suta ) is a manga series by Kagami Yoshimizu. The Yonkoma manga was implemented in 2007 as a 24- episode anime television series. In the center of the story are four girls and their lives. You are at the beginning of the series in the first year of Kasukabe High School and change the course of history in the second and third year.

The comic strips are published in the video game and manga magazine Comtiq in Japan since the January 2004 issue monthly. Anime
In the animation studio Kyoto Animation was based on the comic strip as an anime television series, which includes 24 episodes, each with a duration of about 24 minutes. Initially led Yutaka Yamamoto Director, with Lucky Star was his first series for which he had overall responsibility. After four episodes however, he was relieved of this task, " since he had not yet reached the level of a director " and replaced by Yasuhiro Takemoto.

The anime was aired from April 2007 to midnight on over 15 regional television on Japanese television. The first broadcast of 24 episodes from 9 April (and thus on the previous TV day ) ran, took place on Chiba TV, TV Saitama and a half hours later and again about an hour later at Kumamoto HOSO. Within the month of April began more than a dozen other stations even with the broadcast. Special features of the anime
At the end of the plot of each episode of Lucky Channel was inserted. In addition to these short stories that have been modeled on a small moderated broadcast, the presenter Akira Kogami occurs. The first game Lucky ☆ Star: Moe Drill (らき ☆ すた 萌え ドリル) was published on 1 December 2005 On 24 May 2007 the sequel Shin Lucky ☆ Star followed. Moe Drill - Tabidachi (真·らき ☆ すた 萌え ドリル ~ ~旅立ち). Reception
The first 5 volumes of the manga have sold to September 2008, more than 2 million times.
In particular, the director Yutaka Yamamoto -produced television series Kannagi showed several allusions to Lucky Star. So he entered himself as a fictional character in the 5th episode and played on his banishment from Kyoto animation. In the tenth episode of Kannagi, which exclusively dealt with karaoke, was only behind a closed door hearing Karaoke deposits parodied several times in the closing credits of Lucky Star. At first only indicated by the same scene design, Jin Mikuriya finally confused the room door and finds himself in space 301 between the main characters from Lucky Star again.
