Ludovico Geymonat

Ludovico Geymonat [' dʒeɪ - ] ( born May 11, 1908 in Turin, † November 29, 1991 in Rho ) was an Italian philosopher.

Life

Geymonat was 1956-1979 Professor of Philosophy at the University of Milan. He was a member of the Italian Communist Party (KPI). When the KPI over went to the Democrats of the Sinistra (DS ), he joined the Partito della Rifondazione Comunista (PRC). In 1985 he was awarded an Antonio Feltrinelli Prize.
