Ludwig Worman

Ludwig Worman (* 1761 in Tinicum, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, † October 17, 1822 in Earl, Pennsylvania ) was an American politician. In the years 1821 and 1822, he represented the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Ludwig Worman received only a limited education. He then completed an apprenticeship in the tanning trade. In 1784 he moved to Earl, where he opened a tannery. Later he hit as a member of the Federalist Party, a political career.

In the congressional elections of 1820 Worman was in the seventh election district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Daniel Udree on March 4, 1821. This mandate he was able to exercise until his death on 17 October 1822. At this time, the elections had already taken place for the next legislative session, where Worman had not been confirmed.
