Lufthansa SG Berlin

The SG Lufthansa Berlin was a German sports club Lufthansa from Berlin which existed from 1931 to 1945. Homestead was the sports facility Monument Road in the district of Schöneberg.

Football section

The sports club was created in 1931 acted to 1935 under the name Lufthansa SV Berlin. In the mid- thirties played the company team from Schöneberg in Berlin höherklassigen football. 1939 succeeded Lufthansa SG promotion to the first split Gauliga Berlin- Brandenburg. In the opening season, the team of LSG occupied before the same number of points Elektra Berlin the second place, and failed after Blue-White 90 Berlin, just short of the playoffs to the Berlin championship.
