Luigi Borgato

Luigi Borgato ( born February 21, 1963 in Gallarate ) is an Italian piano maker and manufacturer of pianos.

Life

Borgato presented his first grand piano in 1991, at the age of 28 years, at the European Congress " Euro Piano". The built by him have wings in the treble ( the top 44 tones ) via a vierchörige strings instead of the usual dreichörigen. On his name several patents are registered to the technique of piano construction, including a newly designed cast frame.

Borgato is variously invited to national and international courses on pianos and piano technology as a speaker. As a piano tuner he uses when shooting renowned pianists, including Radu Lupu of, Andras Schiff, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Rosalyn Tureck, Lazar Berman and Maria Joao Pires. Borgato now lives in Lonigo.

The Doppio Borgato

In 2000 Borgato filed for a patent pedal piano, which he called Doppio Borgato ( "Double Borgato "). It consists of two independent parts, a normal grand piano and a set including pure pedal part with 37 pedal keys ( range subcontra A to a0). Some contemporary composers have been submitted for this wing works, including Ennio Morricone ( Quarto Studio Bis, 2011), Andrea Morricone ( Omaggio a JSB, 2011), Franco Oppo ( Rejoice greatly O my soul, 2000), Charlemagne Palestine ( Compositions for pedal piano, 2005) and Jean Guillou ( Epitases, 2001).
