Luigi Capuano

Luigi Capuano ( born July 13, 1904 in Cancro, Naples, † October 20, 1979 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.

Life

Capuano, who was commanding pilot in World War II and then worked as a sports journalist, came with 43 ​​years to film. As a screenwriter and director of entertaining movies of all kinds, but especially Neapolitan comedies, he acquired during the 1950s a reputation as a technically sound craftsmen. Towards the end of the decade he began a long series of adventure films and decided his work with a spy movie and two spaghetti westerns. 1971 his name is called for tax reasons again in a mainly Spanish Zorro version. His pseudonym was Lewis King.
