Luis Fernando López (race walker)

Luis Fernando Lopez ( Luis Fernando López Erazo; born June 3, 1979 in Pasto ) is a Colombian goer who is successful on the 20 -km distance.

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he came on the 24th Place. The following year he won at the IAAF Championships in South Cali bronze and was twelfth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.

In 2006 he won Gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games, and in 2007 he won at the World Championships in Osaka ranked 22nd.

A ninth place finish at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in 2009 was followed by winning the title at the IAAF Championships South America in Lima and a fifth place at the World Championships in Berlin.

In 2010 he won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez, 2011 Bronze at the World Championships in Daegu.
