Luís Miguel Rocha

Luís Miguel Rocha ( born in 1976 in Porto ) is a Portuguese writer and producer. He has published several novels whose main characters are popes.

Life

Rocha spent his childhood and youth in Viana do Castelo. After school and university he went to Britain to work for various TV channels. In parallel, Rocha began to write and, in 2006 with his novel O Último papa ( Eng.: The Third Secret ) successful debut.

Reception

In his novels like Rocha explores the life and death of popes. His novel The Third Secret is based on the conspiracy to Pope John Paul I, the novel Bala santa emerged after further theories about the death of Pope John Paul II in his latest novel A mentira sagrada Rocha is busy with the current pope, Benedict XVI.
