Luis Ramos

Luis Ramos ( born October 9, 1939) is a former Uruguayan football player.

Association

Forward Ramos was at least 1964 and 1966 the Squad from Nacional Montevideo in La Liga on. 1964, participation in the finals of the Copa Campeones de América for him to book, in which the Argentine representative Nacional Independiente ultimately had to leave the trophy. Ramos came in two finals for use. With the Bolsos he closed the season 1966 from the Uruguayan champion. More career station Ramos was in the 1970s, the Misiones Football Club Deportivo Español as well as in Argentina, the Racing Club in Montevideo and the Venezuelan club Estudiantes de Mérida.

National

Ramos was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay. He also participated in the 1966 World Cup with Uruguay. Coach Ondino Viera attacked but in the course of the tournament does not return to its services.

Ramos underwent in August 2006 and February 2007, two family tragedies, as he suffered in quick succession the deaths of his two daughters working as a model Luisel Ramos ( 1984-2006 ) and Eliana Ramos ( 1988-2007 ), both apparently due to heart failure or heart attack as a result of malnutrition died.
