Luka Juhart

Luka Juhart (* 1982 in Yugoslavia, now Slovenia) is a Slovenian musician.

In 1995, he began his musical training with Prof. Andrej Lorber at the music high school in Maribor, where he completed his secondary education in 2001. From 2001 to 2006 he studied in the accordion class of Prof. Hugo Noth at the Academy of Music in Trossingen. There he earned two degrees: one with a degree in Music Teacher ( 2005) and one in Artistic Education (2006). Since then he has studied in the master class of Prof. Stefan Hussong at the Academy of Music in Würzburg. He attended master classes and workshops, among others, Margit Kern, Ivan Koval, Tomaž Lorenz Christoph Bossert.

Luka Juhart was several times winners of national and international competitions. In 2001 he received the Dr. -Roman- Klasinc Award for extraordinary artistic achievements. He also won the DAAD Prize (2002) and the iris -Marquardt Award (2003 ).

As a musician, he is a soloist and chamber musician in Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland go. He often plays recordings for the radio (including RTV Ljubljana, Maribor and RTV ORF). Currently he is working on a lot of new music. He often collaborates with composers and leads to their works, such as works by Uroš Rojko, Klaus Huber, Vinko Globokar and Stefan Beyer.
