Luka Vučko

Luka Vučko ( born April 11, 1984 in Split) is a Croatian football player. The central defender played since September 2012 in Pécsi Mecsek FC in the Nemzeti National Championship, the highest Hungarian league.

Career

Association

Vučko played in his youth at the NK Solin, from where he moved to Hajduk Split in 2002. In his first season he was indeed Cup Winners' Cup, but he came into the league just two appearances. Therefore, he was loaned for one season to his youth club NK Solin. There he collected more match practice. After his return he was with Hajduk Split up of the top Croatian league, also the cup final was reached. In January 2006 he joined, after another fall season in Split, to Russia to Saturn Ramenskoje, where he but no play in the league Premjer denied and only the second team was used. Beginning of the season 2006/ 07 he returned to Hajduk.

In January 2007, he joined HNK Rijeka. There he played in the Intertoto Cup and was in the championship in 2007/ 08 in the final standings in fourth. In 2008 he returned to Croatia finally the back and moved to Turkey to Eskişehirspor. 2008/ 09 was achieved in eleventh place in the following season they finished seventh. In February 2011 Vučko joined the Polish first division Lechia Gdańsk, where he became a regular player. After he lost his place at the end of the 2011/12 season, his expiring contract was not renewed in the summer of 2012.

In early September 2012, he signed a two year contract then the Hungarian first division Pécsi Mecsek FC.

National

For Croatia Vučko has played once. His only used but also his debut was on 26 May 2010 at the friendly match against Estonia. In the game in Tallinn he came on in the 47th minute for Dejan Lovren. It ended 0-0. Thereafter, however, he was no longer considered.
