Lukáš Pešek

Lukáš Pesek ( born November 22, 1985 in Prague) is a Czech motorcycle racer.

Career

Pesek came across the Czech Championship eighth of a liter class and the 250 cc Championship for motorcycle world championship. After a first launch in 2002 on a 125 cc Honda, he went into the 2003 season with a 250 cc Yamaha nine times at the start and ended up in 30th place overall. The next year he went back to a 125 cc Honda and reached the 21 World Cup ranking.

In 2005 he went on a Derbi, a similar season as last year, but in 2006 he improved significantly. With a second place in the Spanish Grand Prix, he won his first World Cup podium and it was followed by two third places from pole positions in Italy and Germany. He graduated from the World Cup in sixth place. The next season, in turn, presented an increase is: After a third place in Qatar and a second place in Spain, he went to China from the third starting position his first Grand Prix win out. More podiums he reached the second place in France, third in the Czech Republic and his second GP win in Australia. In the 2012 season, Lukas Pesek went to Honda CBR 600 RR in the Supersport World Championship for the team PRORACE at the start. In the final classification, he finished with six points to 33 overall.

2013 Pesek occurs in the MotoGP class of the Motorcycle World Championship. He starts for the Italian team Came IodaRacing Project Ioda Suter - BMW engine. His team-mate is the Italian Danilo Petrucci. Pešeks previous best finish was 16th place at the Grand Prix of Catalunya at Circuit de Catalunya.
