Łukasz Kruczek

Paweł Łukasz Kruczek ( born 1 November 1975 in Buczkowice ) is a former Polish ski jumper and today's ski jumping coach.

Career

His first international was jumping to the World Cup on January 27, 1996 in Zakopane. On the large hill he reached the 43rd place. On 10 February 1996, he jumped at the ski flying event at Kulm on the 45th place. When a day later held Ski Flying World Championships 1996, he came on the 46th place. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1997 in Trondheim, he reached in the competition on the large hill in turn only the 46th place. In the same year he was at the Winter Universiade in South Korea Muju the title of the normal hill win. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan, he did not come on the 45th place out on the large hill. On January 17, 1999 Kruczek could first reach the 25th place World Cup points in Zakopane. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein, he was able to increase its capacity to 1997. So he jumped on the large hill on the 32th and on the normal hill on the 41st. When discharged in the same year Winter Universiade in Poprad, Slovakia he could defend his title on the normal hill and defend reached on the large hill in sixth place. It was followed by two seasons with changing services. He usually fell short of expectations and ended up outside the points. However, in February 2001, he won both the normal and for the first time on the big hill the gold medal in Zakopane at the Winter Universiade. On 9 December 2001, he could jump with the team in team jumping from Villach on the podium for the first time and came together with Robert Mateja, Adam Malysz and Wojciech Skupień to 3rd place. After his performance thereafter continued to be below expectations, he was removed from the A- National Team and included in the Continental Cup team for the start of season 2002/ 03. But also in the Continental he was unsuccessful and ended after last season jumping on February 23, 2003 in Lauscha his active career Springer. Previously, he had achieved at the Winter Universiade in Tarvisio Italy together with Grzegorz Śliwka and Krystian Długopolski third place for Poland in the team competition.

After giving up the active jumping, he completed his training as a ski coach and was thereafter Heinz Kuttin coach of the B national squad. Since 2008 he has been coach of the A- national squad after his predecessor Hannu Lepisto was released on March 14, 2008.
