Luke DeVere

Luke DeVere ( born November 5, 1989 in Melbourne) is an Australian football player in the service of K-League club Gyeongnam FC.

Career

After two years at the Queensland Academy of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport in 2008 DeVere signed a professional contract with Queensland Roar. He was already in his first season win a regular place in central defense alongside Craig Moore.

Since 2007 DeVere is the squad of the Australian U -20 team. In 2008, he led the team as captain at the U- 19 Asian Cup and came out with the team to the semifinals, which meant qualifying for the Junior World Championships in 2009 in Egypt.

On 1 January 2011 he joined the K -League Gyeongnam FC to South Korea.
