The Lüntenbeck is a 3.1 km long stream in Wuppertal and is a tributary of the river Wupper. The lake lies in large part in its flow in the district Vohwinkel.

For the name of the watercourse tautology Lüntenbecker Bach is also frequently used. (Beck is the Low German word for stream ).

Course

The creek rises in the local situation Saurenhaus that belongs in the residential district Varresbeck to the municipality of Elberfeld- west, on the border with the same residential district Lüntenbeck in the district Vohwinkel. The source is located in a residential area, near the roads Gellertweg and Pahlkestraße in 224 m height directly on the watershed to the river system of Düsseldorf. The first route, about 45 meters, the stream it runs above ground in a southwesterly direction until it is then piped for 110 meters.
