Lütfi Akadlı

Ömer Lutfi Akadlı ( born July 8, 1902 in Istanbul, † 31 May 1988) was a Turkish lawyer and 1964-1966 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court.

Career

Akadlı graduated in 1923 his studies at the Law Faculty of Ankara University and was appointed in 1928 to the Prosecutor's Office in Sürmene in the province of Trabzon. On 14 June 1950 he was appointed a member of the Turkish Court of Cassation. In the years 1960 and 1961 he was involved in the drafting of the new constitution.

On 2 May 1962 he was appointed a full member of the Constitutional Court and elected on 2 December of the same year Vice- President of the Court. On October 7, 1964, he was President of the Constitutional Court and was until July 8, 1966 at the office.
