Luxoft

Luxoft ( NASDAQ: LXFT ) is a Russian software development and IT outsourcing company that employs more than 5300 employees. The company was founded in April 2000 in Moscow as part of the IBS Group. Luxoft develops and sells custom software for IT organizations and software vendors.

The company offers its services in such industries as financial and banking services, travel and aerospace, telecommunications, energy, automotive and technology industries. Luxoft has 17 worldwide locations and delivery centers in Central and Eastern Europe, North America and Asia.

History

Luxoft was originally in Moscow, founded in 1995 as a development center of IBS, a Russian IT holding company. In April 2000, the development center was converted into an independent company headed by Dmitri Loschinin.

In 2000, Luxoft opened its first office in Montvale in the USA. A year later they opened another one in Seattle and a first regional office in Omsk, Russia. In 2004 offices in London, England and in St. Petersburg, Russia were added. The following year, the company opened additional offices in Kiev and Odessa, Ukraine. At that time, Luxoft was given the status as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. In the same year the company acquired the IT Consulting International in New York. 2007 the newest location in Dnipropetrovsk was opened in Ukraine. 2008 we opened an office in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and earned the Romanian company ITC Networks. 2010 Luxoft established a development center in Krakow, Poland.

Luxoft has development centers in Russia ( Moscow, St. Petersburg, Omsk ), Ukraine (Kiev, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk ), Romania (Bucharest), Vietnam ( Ho Chi Minh City) and in Poland ( Krakow ). Representative offices of the company are located worldwide and in the U.S. (New York and Seattle ), Europe (London, Frankfurt ) and Asia ( Singapore).
