Lying is an American film drama directed by M. Blash from the year 2006.
Action
Megan is visited in her country house near New York City by her friends Grace, Hella and Linda. She talks over lunch about her parents who died in a car accident.
The women drive in the next few days sport and go for a walk. Megan Grace suspected that this sometimes lying. Megan communicates with her neighbor Sarah, who are optical signals.
Reviews
Leslie Felperin wrote in the magazine Variety from the 25 May 2006, the film was " arrogant ", " invented " and " made technically worse than average school project ". Most of the 94 minutes of the movie are " humorless ". The film was influenced by the films Persona Ingmar Bergman and Robert Altman's Three Women, but he lacked " intellectual depth ".
Rotten Tomatoes wrote of the film show a " dirty game " of deception and influence.

The film was shot in Pine Plains (New York). It had its world premiere on 25 May 2006 at the International Film Festival in Cannes.
