Lyudmila Andonova

Lyudmila Andonowa ( Bulgarian Людмила Андонова, English transcription Lyudmila Andonova, born Жечева - Schetschewa - Zhecheva, . Born May 6, 1960 in Novocherkassk ) is a former Bulgarian high jumper.

In 1982, she finished sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens.

On July 20, 1984, she jumped over not only the first time the two meters, but also improved after the world record by two centimeters to 2.07 meters. The following year she was tested on July 19 at a competition test positive for amphetamine.

After the repeal of the doping ban them in 1987 at the Twelfth World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1988 and fourth in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Budapest and fifth at the Olympic Games in Seoul. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 she left in qualifying.

Lyudmila Andonowa is married to Bulgarian decathlete Atanas Antonov.
